This expansive haven holds its own entrance on the southern side of the house, guiding you to the enchanting back verandah, affectionately known as the "stoep." This stoep soaks in the beauty of the rose garden, the sunrise and beyond.
Uniquely versatile, "School Room" can be kept separate from the rest of the house, ensuring privacy for guests in "The Office." Beyond its role as a tranquil escape, it transforms into an ideal young adults/children's dormitory, fostering a communal atmosphere for large groups during their farm stay experience.
Step back in time as you discover that this was utilized as the original schoolroom for children's education. In days of old, a dedicated governess imparted knowledge to the children within these walls. Intriguingly, the very governess who played a pivotal role in shaping young minds at Millwood Manor resided in the charming little house on the left, when entering the farm gate coming from Klipplaat.
There is an assortment of board games and cricket gear in this room, inviting children to revel in joyful play on the expansive front lawn.
Adding a nostalgic touch, guests may notice the floral Roman blind on the small window, crafted from the original window drapes that adorned this old school room.
This is a 10 sleeper dormitory bedroom.
The room consists of:
1 bunk bed – 2 persons.
8 single beds – 7 persons.
