This charming old farmhouse, with its roots dating back to the late 1800's, retains much of its original layout, providing a nostalgic glimpse into the past. Millwood Manor boasts a lengthy L-shaped entrance and passage from which the seven inviting bedrooms branch out. Among these, three bathrooms are available, one of which is en suite, accommodating a total of 28 guests. For our youngest visitors, a baby's cot is thoughtfully provided.
Winter evenings come alive in the expansive lounge, complete with a captivating and efficient fireplace. The separate dining room features a generously sized table, seating up to 14 guests, and a hostess trolley ensures that your meals remain warm until you're ready to savour them.
The fully equipped kitchen offers a freezer, a spacious fridge, microwave, electric stove and oven, toaster, kettle, electric frying pan, sandwich toaster, gas stove, filter coffee machine, as well as an array of pots and pans. There is a small gas stove and oven and a separate gas bottle with a cooker top for the power outages. Braai enthusiasts will appreciate the potjie pots, braai dishes, braai grids, and tongs at their disposal. Ample dishes and utensils cater to the convenience of preparing food for large groups, with more than 30 pieces of crockery and cutlery available.
Connected to the lounge is a cozy pub named "The Tank," creatively converted from an old cement fresh water tank. This delightful space has its own fridge/freezer, ensuring your drinks and ice are kept cold. The pub extends to an undercover braai area, featuring a separate fire pit which is ideal for those crisp nights when you seek relaxation under the stars, whether in lively conversation or serene contemplation.
In the summer months, our guests can beat the heat in the swimming pool, complemented by a convenient braai area. Please remember to bring your swimming towels.
